PARENT AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Montgomery County Public Schools relies on stakeholder participation in its work at a variety of levels, including many kinds of advisory committees and workgroups. Parent and community involvement is critical to the school system’s success, and is required by several Board of Education policies and regulations. Advisory groups provide guidance and recommendations to the Board of Education and school system staff. This input guides and informs decisions made by the Board and staff.
