Cultural Arts Showcases 2019-2020      

• Oct. 2  –      9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Oct. 3 –       9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
• Oct. 7 –       6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Pizza by the slice will be available at the evening showcases.

Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the auditorum.

What is the audition process?

The Superintendent's Committee was designed to screen and approve performing companies or individuals who wish to make presentations in the schools.   The presentation must be auditioned.  If approved by the Superintendent's Committee, the program will be listed in the Performing Arts Catalogue for a $10 fee.  The individual or company will also be invited to participate in the Cultural Arts Showcases.  

Auditions will be held on September 4 and 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Deadline is July 9, 2019.

MCPS forms to be submitted are: Registration Form, Teacher’s Guide, and evidence that this production has been performed before a children’s audience. Please submit completed forms to Seda Gelenian to the contact information below.

The company and/or individual must submit two (2) copies of the registration form and two (2 ) copies of the Teacher's Guide form for the performance or workshop for each production. All sections must be completed and typed. Please send to Seda Gelenian at the address below.
