Accelerated and Enriched Instruction → Accelerated and Enriched Programs
Students whose motivation, outstanding talent, performance, or potential for performing at high levels of accomplishment are identified at the local school level to receive accelerated and enriched instruction. Each school has instruction tailored for students identified as gifted and talented. To learn more about how your school meets the needs of advanced learners, please contact the principal or the designated GT Liaison at elementary schools or the Accelerated and Enriched Instruction Support Teacher (AEIST) at middle schools. Elementary accelerated and enriched programs include the Enriched Literacy Curriculum, Centers for Enriched Studies, International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, and Gifted and Talented/Learning Disabled Services.
Middle school accelerated and enriched programs include Magnet Programs, enriched courses in Math and World Studies, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, and Gifted and Talented Learning Disabled Services.
High school accelerated and enriched programs include Magnet Programs, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Gifted and Talented Learning Disabled Services.
Elementary, middle, and high school support within the home school or in a separate setting through the IEP process.
