MCPS Strategic Plan Network Renovation Team

 

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is renovating its strategic plan: Our Call to Action: Pursuit of Excellence. The renovation is focused on ensuring we are preparing students for their future and that our system is prepared for Common Core State Standards and new assessments. The Board of Education’s focus has been redefining the systems’ core values. Superintendent Starr’s focus is the strategic plan, which will include new competencies and measures. Through an application process, a network team of passionate committed parents, students, community members, and employees will  help direct the future of MCPS, by focusing on the core competencies of academics, 21st century skills, and social emotional learning.
