MCPS has adopted a structured and sequential Leadership Development Program (LDP) that culminates with the preparation of highly skillful leaders who possess the necessary attitude, knowledge, and skills to meet the ever changing demands of the principalship.

Are you aspiring to become a principal in MCPS?
During the school year we hold Aspiring Principal Information Sessions to provide an opportunity to network, meet current principals, provide feedback on your resume, and share important information regarding the application and interviewing process. The Future Principal Workshops will be held via zoom from 4:00 -5:30 p.m. and are a two-day session.
