NFHS Online Courses

The following NFHS Coaches' Education Courses are required for all stipend coaches:

• Bullying, Hazing, and Inappropriate Behaviors - to be completed once, prior to coaching in Montgomery County Public Schools
• The Accredited Interscholastic Coach requirements must be achieved within one year of the start of the season for which a coach is first hired for, or the equivalent MSDE approved in-service coaching education program (Fundamentals of Coaching).
• Concussion in Sports - must be completed every two years
• Football Tackling - must be completed once, prior to coaching in Montgomery County Public Schools (football coaches only)
• Heat Illness Prevention - must be completed every two years
• Protecting Students from Abuse - must be completed once, prior to coaching in Montgomery County Public Schools
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest - must be completed every two years
