Ms. Barbara Davis

Hi, I am a Special Education Paraeducator at Westover Elementary. I am also a mother of three daughters and my oldest is a teacher here. Reading, singing
in my church choir and spending time with my family is what I love to do in my spare time.

I am a mother of three boys and I am originally from Ethiopia. I love to work with our students. I always try my best to help and encourage them so that they can achieve their goals. I like to read stories, cook and help out.

This is my first year at Westover Elementary School and my second year working in Autism. I graduated from Howard County Community College with a degree in early childhood education with a minor in special education. I love cooking, sports and Disney!

Hi! I'm a special education paraeducator in the Pre-K Language class at Westover.  I graduated from UMD with a degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. Baking and gardening are two of my favorite hobbies. Spending time with my two grandchildren and their families bring me a lot of joy. Looking forward to assisting our students grow and learn many new things this school year.

I have been a paraeducator at Westover Elementary since the Fall of 2007. I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Baltimore. I enjoy creative writing in my spare time. My family and I like to watch comedy and adventure movies together. I think of Westover as my second home and try to inspire the students to develop a lifelong love of literacy and learning.

I am a special ed paraeducator and I am so excited to share my story with Westover students this year. I am originally from Ethiopia. I went to College University of Lumumba in Moscow. My interests are reading, writing and listening to gospel songs. Over the summer I spent my time with my family.

I am the Building Services Manager at Westover. I always make sure the school building and outside are clean and safe for all students, staff and parents. I love to travel, watch movies, play soccer, listen to music, and play basketball.

Hi, I am the Assistant Building Services Manager at Westover. I am from El Salvador. I went to school in San Miguel, El Salvador. This summer I went to El Salvador to visit my family. I like to cook and travel.

Hello, I am a building service worker. I have been at Westover for 7 years and I really enjoy working here with a very nice staff. I was born and raised in Maryland. I really like watching sports. I like the Redskins, Wizards, and Capitals!

Mrs. Yasmine Siezar Hernandez

I am a building service worker. This year is my 12th year at Westover Elementary School. I am from Nicaragua. I am interested in speaking with the children and the staff because I want to practice my English and have very good communication with everybody at Westover.
