ESOL
The goal of the ESOL program is to help the English Language Learners to learn enough English to function linguistically and culturally in the Montgomery County Public Schools and in the mainstream of American society.
Division of ESOL / Bilingual Services
The MCPS Elementary ESOL curriculum is based on Maryland English Language Proficiency (ELP) Standards for ESOL instruction. The ELP standards describe expected performance levels for ESOL students from beginning to advanced language proficiency levels.
