Media Center

Welcome to the Carl Sandburg Media Center. Our mission is to provide an encouraging environment where students can learn library and informational literacy skills and develop a love of books and reading. We strive to supply the Carl Sandburg staff with the materials, equipment, and information they need to support and enrich their classroom through Curriculum 2.0.

All students visit the Media Center once a week for a 40 minute lesson and book exchange. Students may check out one book per week. 4th and 5th grade students are allowed to take their books home each week. K-3 students should keep their books in their classrooms. Parents and Caregivers are also welcome to check out books from the library.
