    2022-23 Instrumental Music Days: Thursdays & Friday mornings

    Welcome to Instrumental Music! Instrumental Music is available to 4th and 5th graders, and offers an exciting opportunity to learn to play a new instrument. Instrumental music lessons are free and take place once a week during the school day. The following instruments are taught: violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, alto saxophone (5th grade only), trumpet/cornet, trombone, baritone, and percussion.

    The form also includes demonstration videos of each instrument to help you choose. Once you enroll, you will receive a list of local music stores where you can rent instruments and find supplies. A limited number of school instruments are also available to families who need them.

    Enrollment forms are due by Friday, September 23rd. I will reach out and confirm your enrollment once I receive your form. Classes will begin the week of October 3rd.

    ¡Bienvenido a la Música Instrumental! La música instrumental está disponible para los estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado, y ofrece una oportunidad emocionante de aprender a tocar un nuevo instrumento. Las clases de música instrumental son gratuitas, y tienen lugar una vez a la semana durante el día escolar. Los instrumentos: flauta, clarinete, saxofón (quinto grado solamente), trompeta, trombón, barítono, percusión, violín, viola, y violonchelo.

    El formulario también incluye videos de demostración de cada instrumento para ayudarlo a elegir. Una vez que se inscriba, recibirá una lista de tiendas de música locales donde puede alquilar instrumentos y encontrar suministros. También hay disponible un número limitado de instrumentos escolares para las familias que los necesitan.

    Los formularios de inscripción deben presentarse antes del viernes 23 de septiembre. Me pondré en contacto y confirmaré su inscripción una vez que reciba su formulario. Las clases comenzarán la semana del 3 de octubre.
