Digital Art I & II
Program Overview
This is a course for eighth grade students. They will utilize technologies such as tablets, a scanner, dslr camera, and traditional and non art techniques to create their own artistic creations. Students will develop skills in drawing, pre planning, project based learning, develop critical thinking skills in examining artists, develop art vocabulary by analyzing art elements and principles in their own work and others. Students will work on iMac computers and learn the software applications of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and imovie.
