ITF in the Community

    ITF Donates to Local Charitable Organizations

    The Information Technology Foundation program (ITF) takes an active role in the community each year through their donation program. Each year, the ITF program donates an item of technology to a Montgomery County charity. The Montgomery County Students Information Technology Foundation, Inc. (ITF) has reconditioned and WILL DONATE a computer lab, consisting of six computers with operating systems, monitors, keyboards, mice and one printer, for use by a deserving non-profit organization-501 (C) (3) in Montgomery County. This project provides an opportunity for the ITF students at Clarksburg HS, and Thomas Edison HS of Technology to put into practice their computer skills and also earn community service hours, while developing a deeper appreciation for the concepts of charity and community involvement.
