Destiny Discover

Destiny Discover, also known as the library catalog, provides access for students, staff and parents to search and access digital resources including ebooks, audiobooks, online resources and print books when we return to the brick and mortar school. Sora

Sora is an app associated with the Montgomery County Public Library.  It is the YA version of Overdrive.  Students may read a variety of books here, too!  Go to Soraapp.com (Links to an external site.); locate Hallie Wells Middle School; enter your username AND @mcpsmd.org.  Yes, mcpsmd.org NOT .net and your school password. Sora (Links to an external site.)  Check here for a list of NEW BOOKS (Links to an external site.)!

TeenBook Cloud

Teen Book Cloud allows multiple students to read ebooks at the same time.  You and friends can have your own mini-book club! What a great way to get together. TeenBook Cloud as a variety of ebooks, enhanced novels, graphic novels, videos, and audiobooks for students in grades 6-12.  Few of these books are in Destiny or Sora, but there is some duplication.  You will not need a username and password if you go through this link (Links to an external site.).

 

TumbleBooks

TumbleBooks Library has animated “talking” books. You can read a book on your own or have it read to you.  There is a nice variety of books in this database, too.  You will not need a username and password if you go through this link (Links to an external site.).

 

Capstone Interactive

Capstone Interactive Library is a collection of eBooks about different subjects, genres, and levels so you can find just the right book.  And every title is supported by audio recorded by professional voice-over artists.
