Welcome to the GSCES Media Center!
We can't wait to see all of our Bullfrogs back in the Media Center in the coming weeks. Students will begin checking out library right during the first week of school when they visit us for their first lesson.
Visiting the Media Center
Students in Grade K and 1 will visit the GSCES Media Center every week for lessons and book exchange. Students in Grades 2 through 5 will visit the media center every two weeks for lessons and book exchange. Lessons include Digital Citizenship, research skills, evaluating sources of information (information literacy), library skills and, of course, literature appreciation.
Every morning, there is Open Library from 8:40 - 9:05 am for students in Grades 2-5. Students may obtain a pass from their homeroom teacher to visit.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:45 pm but our Online Resources are available 24/7!
Circulation of Library Materials for the 2022-23 School Year
Bullfrogs in Grades K - 1 may check up (2) library books at a time for two weeks. Second graders may check out (3) books at a time for two weeks. Bullfrogs in Grades 3 - 5 may check out up to (5) books at a time for two weeks.
