Ms. Jenny Armstrong

I have been teaching kindergarten for 22 years - and am just as excited for this school year as I was my first year of teaching. I grew up in Montgomery County and almost my entire family are all still in the area. I have 9 nieces and nephews! I love all things Disney and my favorite Disney character is Moana! When I am not reading or running, I love to spend time with friends, family and pugs!

Ms. Kristin Berney 

I am entering my 12th year of teaching, all of which have been in Kindergarten. I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I attended all MCPS schools. I went on to earn my Bachelors degree and Masters degree from the University of Maryland.  I am the proud mom of three! We love to play outside and read books. I also love to visit the beach, watch football, and anything Disney! I'm excited for a great school year!

Ms. Becca Redman 

Hi there! My Name is Becca Redman and I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten again this year!!! I have an awesome husband and daughter and we love anything involving outside! Some of my favorite things to do when I am not here at school include: swimming, golfing, walking my dog Pickles, and reading. I also love to paper craft. Looking forward to a great year!!

Ms. Coree Perry 

Hello! My name is Coree Perry. I have been teaching at GSCES for 6 years. This is my 10th year teaching. I am from Montgomery County, Maryland. I graduated from Towson University and Loyola University. I have taught both Kindergarten and Second grade at the Creek. If you walk down the kindergarten hallway, don’t be alarmed by the joyous sounds of chatter, laughter, and singing. We are always actively learning. When I am not at school, you can catch me at the beach, park, or browsing through each aisle at Target. I am looking forward to having an amazing 2022-2023 school year with our bullfrog family.

Ms. Denisha Smith

Hello! My name is Denisha Smith and I will be a Kindergarten teacher this year. I am originally from New York and moved to Maryland in 2020. I completed my Bachelors degree at Baruch College in Business Administration. I have also completed my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at Hunter College. I was a paraprofessional with the NYC Department of Education for 7 years and taught first grade at Harford County for 2 years. When I am not at school, I am spending time with my dog child, cooking, and anything arts and crafts. I can't wait to start learning together and excited to get to know everyone!
