Dear Glenallan Community members,

We hope this message finds you well! It’s the last week of school, and we welcome the summer days! The sun shines brighter, the days grow longer, and the possibilities seem endless. It's the perfect time to pause, recharge, and reconnect with the world outside the classroom. Whether you have exciting vacations planned, new adventures on the horizon, or simply intend to relish in some much-needed rest, we hope this summer brings you the rejuvenation and joy you deserve.

We would like to bring your attention to a few important events happening this week. Please check out the details in the last edition of the CHOMPER for this school year. On Wednesday, June 14th, we will be celebrating our rising 6th graders with a clap-out at Glenallan at 2:30 pm. Later in the evening, at 6:30 pm, we will honor them during their promotion ceremony at Kennedy High School. It's a momentous occasion that marks their transition to the next phase of their educational journey.

Please note that Friday, June 16th, is the last day of school and an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:55 pm. We appreciate your attention to this detail to ensure that all students are picked up on time. If there are any changes to dismissal plans, please communicate directly with your child's classroom teacher(s).

As we bid farewell to this academic year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for being true CHOMPIONS. Your dedication, resilience, and collaborative spirit have made a significant impact on our school community. We look forward to seeing our Gators tomorrow! May your summer be filled with beautiful moments, cherished memories, and the company of loved ones. Stay safe, stay well, and enjoy this well-deserved break!

¡Esperamos que este mensaje te encuentre bien! ¡Es la última semana de clases y damos la bienvenida a los días de verano! El sol brilla más, los días se alargan y las posibilidades parecen infinitas. Es el momento perfecto para hacer una pausa, recargar energías y reconectarse con el mundo fuera del aula. Ya sea que tenga planeadas vacaciones emocionantes, nuevas aventuras en el horizonte o simplemente tenga la intención de disfrutar de un descanso muy necesario, esperamos que este verano le traiga el rejuvenecimiento y la alegría que se merece.

Nos gustaría llamar su atención sobre algunos eventos importantes que sucederán esta semana. Consulte los detalles en la última edición del CHOMPER para este año escolar. El miércoles, 14 de junio, celebraremos a nuestros alumnos de sexto grado con un aplauso en Glenallan a las 2:30 p. m. Más tarde en la noche, a las 6:30 pm, los honraremos durante su ceremonia de promoción en la Escuela Secundaria Kennedy. Es una ocasión trascendental que marca su transición a la siguiente fase de su viaje educative.

Tenga en cuenta que el viernes 16 de junio es el último día de clases y un día de salida temprano. Los estudiantes saldrán a las 12:55 pm.  Apreciamos su atención a este detalle para asegurar que todos los estudiantes sean recogidos a tiempo. Si hay algún cambio en los planes de salida, comuníquese directamente con los maestros de la clase de su hijo.

Al despedir este año académico, extendemos nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos y cada uno de ustedes por ser verdaderos CHOMPIONS. Su dedicación, resiliencia y espíritu colaborativo han tenido un impacto significativo en nuestra comunidad escolar. ¡Esperamos ver a nuestros Gators mañana!
