- The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) operates 14 MCPS school-based health and wellness centers located in schools across the county. They provide a comprehensive range of services, including preventive medical health care, sick care, mental health, social services and other services that promote positive youth development in a familiar and family-friendly environment. Some services are available year-round and others during the school year.
