Greetings from the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center! We are Montgomery County's resource center serving immigrants and non-immigrants alike. We strengthen the county by connecting our diverse communities with education, economic, and civic resources so our community members can thrive. Although we serve a large population of immigrants we also have many non-immigrant members come to us for resources on food assistance, taxes, pro-bono legal services, computer classes, etc.
We have just set up a new pop-up site at White Oak Library and we are hoping the community knows of and takes advantage of our great programs - English Conversation and Basic Computer training, offered. We will also have Information Referral Specialists at this site, to help guide and answer questions to county and other support services offered by agencies in Montgomery County, MD.
