Roberto Clemente MS

I am very excited to officially take on the role of Assistant Principal and Magnet Coordinator. My most recent role at RCMS was Acting Administrator and Magnet Coordinator last year. I have proudly served the Clemente community for 8 years as a Team Leader, Math Content Specialist, and have taught all math courses from Compacted 5/6 Math through Algebra here at RCMS. I began my tenure with Montgomery County Public Schools 20 years ago teaching in elementary school and serving students and staff as a Math Content Coach.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision, and certifications in K-8 Instruction and Middle School Mathematics. I have had many opportunities to support MCPS families and communities through my love of teaching, leading, and collaborating with other educators to prioritize innovation and student-centered education, and am enthusiastically ready to help lead our school through another successful year together!

My husband and I are also proud parents of 3 sons in grades 4 and 6 in MCPS, and I enjoy spending time in their schools supporting their amazing staff as well.
