Students will be using their Carderock Springs “Student Assignment” books every day to write down assignments and due dates.   Please check their planners DAILY.

Everything that will be posted here should be written down by the students before packing up at the end of the day. I encourage parents/guardians to look at this book with their children every night to help keep organized and current. You will only see writing, science, and social studies homework listed below. You need to click on Mrs. Ruk's page to view math homework. You need to click on Mr. G's page to see reading homework.

We fully expect every assignment to be completed to the best of each student’s ability. If a student needs help, he or she is more than welcome to come see us during the recess period.

Carderock Missed/Late Assignment policy is as follows:

Missed Assignment #1: In-class Student Warning 

Missed Assignment #2: In-class Student Warning 

Missed Assignment #3: Parent e-mail home and student receives “In Progress” for Task Completion

Missed Assignment #6: Parent/Teacher conference

Missed Assignment #10: Let’s just hope it doesn’t get this far. 

Student will receive a “Not Yet Evident” for Task Completion on their Quarterly Report Card.
