All Montgomery County Public Schools are required to develop a plan to guide instruction and school leadership during the school year. This plan is called the School Improvement Plan (SIP). We hope that you will take some time to view this information and share your thoughts with us.
Parents are an integral part of the school improvement process. Parents are also encouraged to assist school staff in the revision of the school’s improvement plan. For more information about how you can become part of the school improvement process, call the school office at 240-740-1300.
The SIP planning process is a continuous improvement model that uses data to identify strategies to focus on student who are not meeting multiple measures for academic success, it also ensures the continued progress for those who have met the expected measures.
The SIP organizes the Evidence of Learning and other school and student data for school-based decision making and district support. Data is gathered and monitored throughout the year and stakeholder input is used to inform the decisions made.
